I got sunburn during this weekie

The weekend went on well, we didn’t have super planning but it was just enough for me, enough of sleep and resting and getting excited over our too-many-games in the computer with thi-rak ak together.
Saturday we had a party over at Uncle Steven’s for his birthday with nice makaning buffet with the drizzle droplets of water from the sky initially. We had slow Macallan in the garden and we left early.

i got sun burn from yesterday's fishing at Pasir Ris with thi-Rak Ak & Benji right after churchy. I felt the heat but was under shade and didn't have any direct contact with the sun.
Yet
when we returned home in the evening, i felt my face stretched and pulled when i smiled and it was getting painy to smile. we were all red from the day sun.

My another off day @ Prawn Pond

When we thought we had no plans for the Spore National day weekend, which had me 4 days of holiday, it was worst than no plans.

We had last minute drinking session,
Almost ALL 3 days night, i think,
So scary.

My another off day yesterday, we went to Jurong for prawning. Not me, botak and thi-rak AK while I was msn-ing the Yeng.

Amazing, the whole prawn pond was only thi-rak AK and botak prawning.
By evening the crowd came in but we left soon, to feel so tired and lazy.

AK overstrain himself

when i didnt join darling AK and benji in the fishing trip, they seemed to catch numerous.

Last night they came home with
15 flower small crabs
15 prawns
3 fishes
1 Grouper

and because it was getting towards the mid night, we rushed to Ah Chai to get the live stuff cooked for our stomach.

then, darling AK and benji body started to a ache and ache, over strain cast net.

caught a Big Fish at Lim Chu Kang

This was supposed to be last week's post which i totally forgotten
and also too tired by the time i reached home every day after work

Last Sunday over at Lim Chu Kang, all wet and muddy, me the darling ak and benji struggled the way through the fields stain with our foot prints to do their hobby fishing.
It rained several times but still it was acceptable.

and we had it at 156 . IT WAS GOOD. we had it with the aunties.

AK netted about 69 prawns

The saturday over at the weekend, the AK and I got frightened by the night's frenzie of liquor and beer that he suggested going for his favourite to please himself.

The weather was threathening and it was rather bright when we started at 645pm..

Lots of tiny baby fishes that the AK wasn't quite wanted.

in total, the AK caught about 69 prawns and needless to say,

to AH CHAI to cook for us.

CPU Sick + 32 Prawns

Hey it's the week pass again and it's the Monday here alright, with something to look forward! The lunar new year holidays yahoo!

Whatever happened to the internet of mine, I duno.

Daddy says:” If Serena cannot do it, if the professional couldn’t do it.. something is wrong!!”””” .

That is when my mother still insist could be the unplugged of some plugs…. Errrrrr!!

The Central Processing Unit went for a hospital stay these days after a thorough check by the IT guy the Saturday. Hopefully a revamp and fixing could be done to it..
Darn!

So since the room was without the lifeless internet-ness, I did a thorough spring clean to the room while the AK did a spring clean on his garden outside, on the noon of Saturday… I will always remember this calendar day of this week. Sigh…

Last evening at O2, ben and aunt jenny followed us to prawning. 3 rods for 4 hours, we did quite a bit with a total of 32 Big Head prawns which we brought to 156 for steaming with a different style of cooking this time by the AhChai. Uncle Yong sat with us during the prawning till he was due for dinner at home. He had a special weird-named XO brandy with him which we tried! I had 1 glass though..

The AK and I met our long time-never-meet 151 kakis… while on the way to the car back at O2. 9119!
Uncle Anson, the siao Joyce and uncle Dan. Aunt Jenny said they are jollies jovial fellows at start…

The new new year had us started off with family movie in the cinema over at AMK HUB hub!

But this time of course, without the humorous quantity “pop corn” business! And this time, with the AK’s friend, Jeff together with my parents and aunties.

the movie was entertaining, not the process but the aftermath of it, but kinda alright i thought, not as bad as the critics had described and made it out to be.

It was back home straight after and back to the Bishan for more prawning with ben and carol.
Same, plate of Big head prawns that they caught, cooked by complimentary of ahChai 156!

Hari Raya Haji

We had the dinner invitation on the Wednesday evening by Uncle Kiat without knowing the reason but at the last minute, we gotten known it was his birthday so the Ak and the parents got 2 wine bottles filled for him.

The dinner was at The Cathay, restaurant is the The Cathay.

The food was exclusively and was individually served, Chinese cuhsine, fine dining.
Daddy’s family was kinda huge and as always, 2 large tables for the Tan family.

The Birthday Bun that the Chinese believed to have with little buns inside. Ak had one too..

This was very good… one albalone person with goose liver fried.. Yummy


























The old actors actress hung on the decorative wall. Didn’t know them until daddy mentioned!


























Last evening, the mummy heard me talk talk talk so much about the crabs bee hoon over at AMK 232 I think and she went over early 530pm to queue up, while we dropped Daddy over at courts to grab the cheap sale television, but of course, it was sold out! What do you think? This is Singapore.

So we gotten a table sooner than expected and food was served specially fast even before Aunty Kim and Aunty Chia arrived!






We ordered almost the same food.. Let me tell you. Never try something you craved so much twice without half a year.


You be damn disappointed.


The soup was lousy and nothing was special and tasty anymore.
I thought was myself, losing my appetite, but no, we all felt the same, the Ak and me.
The food was nothing but ordinary …

Fish wasn’t fresh and Ah Chai’s stall makan fish was 10times better and fresher if he wanted!

Prawning at O1

The Ak inspiration craving for prawning has been haunting him for weeks, so this Friday we went to O1 Bishan for some prawning for 3 hours.

























Companied by a little of Hot martell, we had makan, Fried Rice and some chicken wings.. while he was busy prawning, I was busy playing snake.. The Ak caught quite a number of Big head Prawns, enough to sent to Ah Chai for cooking.


























So brought the Big Head Prawns over to Ah Chai 156 to cook and tata!
It turned out nice, should be the cooking, and the style and the cook AH Di! I personally never liked Big Head Prawns, but it turned out superbly-good and me, Aunty Jenny Bolimo and Dennis, not mentioning the AK enjoyed it thoughly,.

It was of course Bolimo’s birthday to be celebrated the next day, but hack, we just had a pre-trial rehearsal for her.

Me Linda and AK went to Sembawang for some suntaning last Saturday week in the afternoon after a heavy night over at 156. The sun did us some good though. Of course, the AK went for some fishing!




This was taken in Wu Bar many many decades back..during a weekday after work… goodness knows when, the photos were dated 3rd April 2007… when I failed to download to the computer because I didn’t bring the memory card using the balance camera memory…

I got sandflies all over at Yishun

This 2 weeks, I have been quite charitable.

Just Saturday the crabbing at the Ulu Yishun, first time , the sandflies attacked my legs without my knowledge. I was watching the AK with awe when he caught around 100 flower crabs that I previously blog about.

I went home with red dots around the leg, but the next time, the itch , the rashes started appearing and I had to stratch It to statisfy the itchiness…

ITS SO BLOODY ITCHY……………………………

Last evening over at the BBQ, I COULDN”T ENJOY VERY MUCH BECAUSE THE ITCH WAS UNBEARABLE and missy said cannot STRATCH, because hers was terrible, she stratch until the scars now all remain visable……. Forever!

But its so BLOODY ITCHY ………….. and ugly…………………..

Mosquitoes bites on me after Tanah Merah fishing

The Sunday Accompany fishing with AK Sinseh and Ah Dan in TANAH MERAH left me scarred and itchy with lots of mosquitoes bites. It was actually no deal until I decided that I was high tide and needed to release the full bladder and went into the F*** bushes and in that split second, the ZZZZZzzzzzz F***Mosquitoes had me!

It's the 2nd day and its itching and red all over the poor body of mine!
