Congratulations to HELEN's pregnancy, my dear girl, took me so so so so long to post, i was really busy, then i totally forgotten to arrange again our meeting session to the moment i reached home.

When i reached home is almost to 9 almost everyday, by the time i makan its bed time.
senseless.

when i treated susan for her birthday lunch today at crystal jade, the bill came with the
UN-touched peanuts at S$2.00. So before that I told Susan if they really charged the untouched peanuts for S$2, i might jolly well ask them to taobao.

and they really charged the un-TOUCHED Peanuts for S$2.

i asked the waiter to wrap it up. and he did. He wrap the peanuts with a small plastic bag. And wrapped the wrapped peanuts with another large plastic bag.
How worthy. S$2 for small plate of peanuts + 2 plastic bags.

then the OFFICE chairs for us to choose to buy for the new office is in the room this noon, about 10 chairs to select, the best chair that fit us.

When I got my "o" level results, enough for entries to polytechnic, I didn't felt the need to give it a try. Instead I went on with my job in UOB the bank branch over beside Centerpoint, continuing in my back room support clerk. I thought it was sufficiently stable and I didn't need much money.


Then a year passed and I was getting too way too little under everyone's order, my clerk colleagues, teller colleagues were in the same bank, same position getting a mini increment year after year for 10 over years with no promotion and were very stagnant.


Nobody got promoted, the banks needed clerks more than any thing else., low paying clerks to work for years and years, slogging in a high pace, high earning bank.
So I seriously thought I was done off, that I was going to stay in that bank my life, finished. .
It wasn't until a few months later, I started thinking...


One day I made my way to the application school to try for my further education that I didn't bothered to try.


My 3rd choice was chosen : Building engineering and I got a place in Ngee Ann shortly after. That was 1993.


things would be different if i continued in the bank as a clerk,. i probably be a clerk still, probably if i was hardworking a senior clerk,. nothing more...

Time Makin' Changes

As I grew older, I realised my fats and weight grew into and stay as well. It used to be, hey, “ my bones were sticking out !!!””” and I could mouth tons of food into my stomach without frightening the weight would increase, guess, its growing with metabolism slowing down.
I must admit though, for the age of mine now, most strangers for the first impression would have not get my age correct!

Yuppi! At least, I have one credit to it!

As I grew older, my music taste remains. Slow English hits, Canto, mandarin and techno hits are still in me…

I would prefer to stop aging and remain at mid thirties. It's the best age to be at, not young not old yet enough as an adult to adventure and live a life!

Old man digging our food at Hong Lim

Back from a mee suan fish slices lunch at Hong Lim 1Level. I had 2 errands to run before meeting my lunch partners at Hong Lim and their service was so slow, that even after my 2nd errand, the luncheon wasn’t serve.

CY had a bowl of rice to go along and only managed ½ a bowl. At our usual coffee time, the thinly, feeble, fragile old man stood behind me, waiting patiently... I turned to look and he asked if we still wanted the ½ bowl of rice.

We told him to go ahead and he took out his plastic cup, containing different collections of rice that he had collected probably earlier and filled it to the brim from CY’s bowl.

Quite satisfied, he thanked us and weakly walked unhurriedly away to find other source of unwanted food, discard by consumers…
