Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End

Its either I don’t know how to appreciate, don’t know the story line or the show is not meant for laymen who has no knowledge of the story before watching.
I have no idea what is going on, I have no idea what they are trying to do what they were fighting and arguing about and what the whole plot is up to!
While I was waiting impatiently for the show to end, I realised it was a nearly 3 hours movie!
Damn boring and senseless…
