Our Weekend Batam

Getting Benji & Niki to the Pet Hotel and to Habour Front after picking the AUN-ties!! Needless to say, there is always a minor malfunction in our "TAN"'s family event... this time round:-
our boarding time was 10.20am.... 10.05pm we were still dilli-dallying at the kopi-tiam sipping coffee, eating. 6 of us... one by one our names were called out over the loudspeaker... At 10.10am, i was the first to go thro' immigration and officer said i had pass my time but i could try to tap my card and i pass thro' the machine... However, the other 3 Tans didn't managed to get in and had to have the officer to open the gate for them to GET TO THE FERRY! Hiccup NO. 1!
Obviously, the ferry had no GROUP seats left, and we were seated separately...

HICCUP NO. 1!

TOUR GUIDE LEFT US to rot... forgetting that this is the Tan FAmILY.. the SUITES were not ready... and we waited for quite a WHILE with the NORMAL welcome drink...
HICCUP NO. 2 .. the receptionist gotten confused and gave me a room which were meant for another couple... EVERYONE GOT UP to walk to the SUITE and LUCKILY i noticed it wasn't my name... ALL WALKED back and got back right where they were seated right the same place for more seating...

HOLIDAY INN! WOW ! so nice the surrondings the atmosphere so much cosier than TURI BEACH! no MOSQUITOESSSSSsss and check the rooms out man!

WALKING TO OUR SUITESsss.........

Because of the waiting, Holiday Inn gave us 2 suites with 2 bedrooms each, EACH!, instead of 2 suites with 2 bedrooms for 1 and 1 bedroom for 1... so we gotten what we paid a little a bit only la.
THE "tan's " didn't want to share room with any of us lor.. so me and AK had a WHOLE suite with 2 bedrooms lor.. LIKE we could have called YENG YENG! AK's GODdaughter. she sure enjoy one leh...
The Dining & Living Room.. From the angle of the balcony.

The Dining & Living Room.. Form the angle of the Door way... Say me mountain Tortise..but its rather huge the whole suite...

The 2nd Bedroom with no attaching toilet but a private one in the dinning room... 2 single bedssss

THE master bedroom with ATTACHing bathroom... i advertising or what???

Hungry hungry we went to Nogoya Hill SHopping Centre, huge but a little bit things to buy only.. but the food is appetizing because i was hungry but seriously, i am startled, FISHERMAN HONG KONG DISHES at NOgaya Hill shopping centre.

Me MOther heard from the CHURCH friends that at NOGAYA hill SHOPPING centre "CHRISTOPGER SALON" give a fabulous superb foot reflexto--logy...

................... NO UNIT NO ######!..................... WHERE IS CHRISTOPHER????

When he came out.... the handphone gone.... and he realised... before they went to the toilet marathon.... a man cross his path while he was going thro' some wallets and brush him.......in his front...

then the other AUNTY stomach ACHE .......... lau---sai!!!!!!! so all waited... while waiting.... Aunty Chai disppeared. Searched searched searched until we appeared searched some more and Aunty KIM SMS her "WHERE ARE YOU?"" the reply...."I AN" ???? not much of a help... in a seconds later, they realised that she was at CHRISTOPHER 2nd level massaging already...

HICCUP NO.5

Daddy must be very sad and disappointed to have lost his phone so we wanted to all have a good meal and went back to Golden Prawn to choose our choice and the style of cooking…

AK choosing the FLOWER crabs....

LObster... one on the road to go..

Mummy also want to try holding the lobster..

hmmmm..... the big prawn..Lobster. 960grams.. converted price to Sing Dollars total damage is S$38 only...the most expensive dish in the whole bill!

We tried the Pepper Crabs... not very satisfying, too spicy and me still prefer ahCHAI's peppery crabie...

one shell for each.. we choose 6 only.. small garlic style of cooking..
Geylang's the best so far

THe Prawns....... our favourite... goes with our wine and beer.

The waiter, take a dark force picture for us... beta than nothing leh.. The wine that Aunty Kim carried from the Hotel to the Shopping centre to Golden prawn.. No corkage charge ... everything is reasonable and localised! Very Batam and NOT bintang lor...Bintang very tourist like and corkage - S$30!

The COOKED lobster.... Lobster meat also like not cruchy and hard.. i don't see why people likes it soo much... Personally, i prefer CRABS and prawnsss

We didn't drown ourselves with liquor this round,. with the suites available we stayed in the suite of Daddy and drank till 3am.
Morning breakfast then to the POOL!

AK trying to act cute! This was taken when we were waiting to check out. nothing to play liao so take pictures.

We trampled upon BATAM CITY CENTRE! LOTS of goodies and bags (beg) and BAGS (BEG) clothes, very the Bangkok! happy happy happy the AK went to rag-KIE and inquire about the local food! Coffeshop with standard want tan mee... doesn't look good right... the taste is delicious...

BAKUTEH and turtle soup..

the smaller version of MBK ....Another foot reflexlogy. Professionally done S$10 each..
By the way the christopher was lousy… after the hard find., we had a lousy and unprofessional leg massage!

So the 2nd day went on smoothly no hiccupsss.. except the ferry for the 550pm was full so we took the later one 650pm, which was good, we had more time on hand for the “Tan” family..

The driver fetched us at 515pm from the shopping centre to the ferry point. Inside, we headed towards the agency stationed over there and realized…,,, WE WERE AT THE WRONG FERRY TERMINAL!

Hiccup No.6..

Penguin! The lady was nice and diplomatic.. since it was from the same agency,…she tried to squeezed us into the ferry and all goes well……
